Trip to museum on Saadiyat Island, Abu Dhabi

We drove 2 hours to the Manarat Al Saadiyat, an exhibition centre on Saadiyat Island in Abu Dhabi, to see a temporary exhibition of relics from 2 million years of human history, with 250 artefacts, mostly on loan from the British Museum…

…with a new Louvre being the domed one on the right, a Guggenheim Museum bottom left which has a wild design, and the tall one in the centre, with a series of canals in front and beside it, being a museum of Arabic history. Astonishing vision. Roll on 2016 when it will all be completed!
